You know that you know… It just feels different. This, my friends, is awareness most simply described. The only piece of this awareness puzzle that is missing being that, “and you notice.” We tend to run through life from one thing to the next, helter-skelter paying little attention to how we feel, the beauty that surrounds us, our intuition, our thinking. We’re like an emotional pinball machine playing 2 or 3 balls at the same time. Let the balls go. Sit quietly and listen to what your body and surroundings are screaming out for you to hear. You’ll be glad you did, eventually.

But alas truth like beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Notice how each person you encounter describes the experience of a party, a meal or any other shared experience in different ways. Each person’s account is seemingly of different events. Albeit the same moment in time, each experience is unique, individual and personal. As you walk your path, realize the time you share with another is indeed two distinct and different events happening at the same time and space. Seek not to correct the experiences of others but rather to enjoy their descriptions. In comparing notes with them, you may very well find a truth that has alluded you.
Today’s message reminds me of Tau Sing‘s saying that two minds can never be as one. But they can touch briefly. Allow yourself to touch minds with those you hold dearly to connect with spiritual truth.
#SpiritShorts: Today’s message is from Tau Chuan Ling:
There is little mystery as to why your friends and families have the problems they do, that is to you. For you, the mystery is your problems in life that don’t go away, but alas this presents no mystery at all to those who know you. The answers you seek for your problems lie within your awareness, but you can not see them because your biggest mystery is You unto yourself. In some cases, these so-called problems are lessons you came here to experience. But for the most part, they are simply the result of your unconscious actions.
Ah the mystery of guilt, a burden from the past projected into the present that stops our enjoyment and impedes success. The funny thing about guilt being that it is typically not in our voice but rather someone who trained us from a very young age that certain behaviors and actions are not acceptable. But after the correction, they persisted in repeatedly reminding us, negatively, of our transgressions to the point we feared the loss their love, their affection. These patterns, over time, became part of the fabric of our consciousness, albeit typically deep within the background. The remedy for guilt is stillness meditation, to calm guilt’s emotional hold, in combination with affirmative statements of worth, deservingness and love which serve to replace guilt’s hold, allowing our minds to stay present, in the moment, and originate positive, supportive thoughts of our choosing.
There is nothing magical about love and attraction. Most hold that there is some mystical destiny to be fulfilled in their life the moment the right person enters their vibration. The simple truth being the anything you so believe will become the reality of your existence, especially in matters of the heart. Therein lies the problem. Considering love to be heart-based propagates the myths about love. If you struggle to find a lover, the problem may very well be you’re not clear on what it is you want. Ponder the difference between love and companionship. Which do you seek?
