As you know all things are energy which includes your thoughts. Energy is a potentiality, a subtle distortion in space that manifests in our experiencing the world as solid, real. As such, your thoughts are potentialities, distortions in space that appear as real to you and create your experience. As you look to accomplish your dreams, goals and ambitions, look first to your thinking. Do your thoughts support your success? If not, begin by changing your thoughts. If you’re not sure whether your thoughts support your goals, look to your life. Are your accomplishments yesterday’s dreams, goals and ambitions? There’s your answer.
#SpiritShorts: Today’s message is from Nathanial:
Each sunrise begins a new day. Do you start each day newly? Terry’s teacher Gene was fond of saying the only difference between a rut and a grave is a matter of depth. Which when combined with the adage the many people have one foot is the grave and the other on a banana peel provides some interesting images about the state of affairs for many people. The other extreme being so-called adrenaline junkies who engage in extreme behaviors to feel alive. Somewhere between the grave and jumping out of planes lies a middle path which when walked with awareness, and knowing can be quite a Spiritual Adventure.
There is a place, some would call magical, where the future, past and present exist simultaneously. That place is your imagination. This veritable time machine allows you to be anywhere, anytime you would like to be. The experience can be as real as you allow it to be. With such a place available to you at any time, how do you best use it? As a theater of your mind. While not a true time machine that transports your body through time, your thoughts are indeed real and have the power to change the course of your life moving forward and even the meanings of your past actions. Spend some time mastering this holographic chamber and use it as a tool to plan your future and re-contextualize you past making your present quite remarkable.
Today’s message is from Nathanial, who shares:
How much time, energy and attention do you devote to discovering who you are? For most, the person we are changes based on the circumstances of the moment. At home, we are one person, at work another, and with friends, yet another. For most of us this behavior seems appropriate and natural but causes a big problem when our various communities intermix, who will we be then. Imagine allowing yourself to forget all pretense and be the person you truly are. Who knows, you may even like this person, the more you get to know them.
NOTE: Today’s message has us consider the age old question, “Who am I?” – What I find interesting about the way Nathanial sets up and asks the question is the inherent nature of how we lie to our selves and others about who we are, or more specifically, who we think we are.
There is a place within your awareness safe, secure and protected from the outside world, a fort of sorts. Rediscover this special place as it protects everything you seek in this life.

Spirit Shorts℠ #107: The First Spiritual Gift Test
Your first Spiritual Gift Test is finding where you’ve hidden yours away. It’s like looking for your lost car key when you’re late for work. You so stressed and anxious about being late you can easily overlook them.
As it is on our journey to spiritual awakening, we are so busy looking outside ourselves we forget that our spiritual gifts lie within our awareness.
If we’re concerned with spiritual matters, we’ve evolved enough spiritually to have easy access to our spiritual gifts. We’re also quite sensitive beings who wear our hearts our sleeves. It’s our sensitivities that have us lock our spiritual gifts away because most people in this world little interest in the deep matters that bother us so.
The problem being we forget about the fort we built to protect what we hold most valuable. We hide it away so perfectly that ever we have a hard time picking up the trail.
Then one day, we recall this special place and begin a quest to rediscover that which we hidden away so thoroughly.
Just like looking for lost keys, we rely solely on our physical senses to find that which we seek. We forget the path to everything we seek. That we long for is within our awareness. That to access this sacred place requires the use of our Spiritual Senses.
Thus, the journey toward enlightenment begins. Your first spiritual gift test is rediscovering where you’ve locked away your spiritual gifts. From there begins your spiritual adventure. For some, the work of a lifetime. For others, the work of many lifetimes.
My best advice, enjoy your spiritual journey.
